My Turkey...and Oliver's Dove


Yes, sorry for the delay in getting a picture of the Thanksgiving bird up, but here it is. Unfortunately this was the only picture we got of it. Also, that is a "yard dove" Oliver caught, so he got to eat his bird while we ate our turkey... haha, he did get turkey, too; that bird wasn't very "filling". ;)

Veggies and Some Preparations





Here I have a homemade Herb-broth which I took and mixed with a gallon of buttermilk and soaked the turkey in for 36 hours... and then our veggie "tray", the "dry" stuffing, and the beginnings of giblet gravy.
