Yay! Spring is here!

The skirt on. :) And, no, it's not crooked, it was just windy outside.

Sewing Skirts

I sewed this skirt this past month for a friend of mine, and I gave her some matching ribbon like is on the fringe of it for her hair. It was really cute, if I do say so myself. ;)

1Pe 3:8-9

To sum up, let all be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.

Daddy's are Special

I made the top goody for my Daddy the other evening after his supper and the friut bowl as part of his breakfast in the morning.

And, Yes, I do believe one should spoil those wonderful Daddy's every-so-often! It makes them feel special, which is just what they are to us, right? :)

........

Isa 38:19

"It is the living who give thanks to Thee, as I do today; A father tells his sons about Thy faithfulness."

Yumy-yumy 7-layer Taco-dip

I think I need to fix the flash on my camera, because these pics are very "foggy" and so have a lot of others pics I've taken been.... oh well.... the food is what matters, right? ;)

So, this is my own version of a "Seven Layer Taco Dip", specifically made to satisfy all the different taste-buds in our family! It is really good, and one of our favorites for spring and summer get-togethers.

........

Mat 16:25

"For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it."

(Out of focus)-Treat Time!

Mama and Oliver had been doing homework all day long, so Jenny and I decided to make them a little treat. :) Not too bad.... (except for the pics not being in focus!)

Psa 54:4, 6

Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul......Willingly I will sacrifice to Thee; I will give thanks to Thy name, O LORD, for it is good.

Stuffed Peppers

These were Stuffed Italian Peppers I made the other night. They were really good too!

Psa 36:9 - For with Thee is the fountain of life; In Thy light we see light.

Organic Fresh Beef Burgers

I would otherwise grill burgers for us instead of using a frying pan, but since it wasn't the right weather, it happened to be the pan this time.

These were amazing, though! I got fresh, organic, farm-raised-grass-fed beef and the price was increadible! (for what I paide for 27 lbs. you couldn't beat!)

Psa 91:1-2, 4

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!" .... He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
